Every new VocPhone account comes with a basic call route already set up, so you can start making and receiving calls straight away — this page walks you through what's included and how to tailor it to your business.
Your account is pre-configured with the following out of the box.

This default route works from day one, but it's designed as a starting point — tailoring it to your business will make your phone system far more effective.

Set the business hours that suit you, and choose what happens after hours — route calls to another number or send them to voicemail, complete with an after-hours announcement. See Business Hours & Time Conditions.
Add a press-1-press-2 style menu so callers can choose the department they need before the phone even rings — for example, "Press 1 for Sales, Press 2 for Support." See IVR.
Plan who answers your calls and where they go if that person is unavailable, so no call is ever missed. See Call Routes.
Upload your own custom greetings, hold music, or voicemail messages — or have VocPhone set them up for you. See Announcements.
Name your extensions by user or location so calls are easy to identify and manage. Each user can have up to 3 devices linked to their extension:
